Sort of the same thoughts you've expressed.

I was thinking that the overall TSE300 was an easier chart to predict, and thus the XIU.TO chart would be, too.

I think it makes some sense to put a portion of the portfolio in these units, but I don't think they'll generate the rate of return that may be possible in some of the more volatile issues, for the next little while.

The other iUnits just don't seem to have the volume (at least they didn't when I looked) to make them viable.

If my assets ever return to the lofty levels they were once at, I'll be allocating a good portion to XIU (playing the charts).
