The egg is very symbolic, you know. I have never thought connection with other people all that necessary, and frequently, it appears to be harmful (from my observations) . Many people appear to be extremely unhappy with the partners of their future life. I am pleased to be happy with mine, but I feel I am the exception, not the rule. So if people can be happy and fulfilled alone (and I am sure some people can be) more power to them, and I wouldn't want my expectations to make them in the least bit unhappy. I used to be a little more judgmental about this. I thought everyone really OUGHT to have a family- especially intelligent people (the people I consider intelligent anyway)- but I've decided that is just not the way I want to live.
