Al, i meant to comment on the shorting and forgot - i'd be in favour of allowing it if it wasn't extra calculation ... which it isn't really, not much .... however we don't have the sort of market lately where the puppies are making little spikey shortable runs, so short picks would tend to be at a disadvantage ... on percentage terms in a contest they're always at a disadvantage in a way ... example, a move from .75 to .50 short is a 33% gain, from .50 to .75 long is a 50% gain .... same numbers, different cost base ... but mostly it's the overall market - this is just not the time for shorting ... there will be a few exceptions of course ... but then on the previous friday close they may have been well above the three loonie limit anyway, all the busted former high-flyers

The time will come, and we'll be richer by then, hopefully -g-
