I would act on the belief that it was my parental responsibility to argue as best I
could against that life choice.

I agree with your right to argue against a lifestyle choice.

How do you feel about going further, ie. cutting a child off emotionally or financially if their lifestyle choice conflicted with what you felt was healthy? And if the answer is "yes", which lifestyle choices would trigger that response?

Are you saying that people shouldn't masturbate? It's just a natural release especially in those teenage years(for boys anyway). I've been places(not jail!) later in life where sex with women wasn't possible for several months at a time and I wasn't about to change my sexual preference or do something that I am not morally condemning, but is not right for me i.e. homosexual(back then, gay still meant something like happy) sex. So, when the pressure built(so to speak) there was only one way to get relief(I'm also not into bestiality). Well, that's about as much as I want to reveal about my sex life for now. I'm going now to celebrate halloween and also my tenth wedding anniversary. Y'all have a nice day :-)
