OT: Until we finally installed central heat 2 years ago, we burned exclusively Hickory (good heat), Oak (very good heat), Osage Orange (aka "Hedge" -- incredible heat), and Walnut (tough to burn, but lasts forever and worthless walnuts are abundant on my land).

Got friends coming over this morning to harvest some maple, elm, walnut, and honey locust. I hate working with honey locust, but it sure does burn well.
