O/T...I love the woodstove heat...nothing like it at all.

I've been burning for 15 years or so, for the 1st few years, back in the single days, it was my only heat source...besides the occasional girlfriend<g>

Soapstone is beautiful stuff, and some of the things they do with the glass doors now is pretty awesome. From what I've heard, the catalytic convertors can take a little bit of getting used to, but I've never had a stove with one, so I can't say first hand.

Looks like you've picked a beautiful line though...fwiw this is the stove I'm using now...

same look, only a little smaller. I just use it for aux. heat now in my attached studio, but in these early Fall months, and in the Spring, it's the only heat going in the house, and it's awesome.
