Zeev, I have never lived in Israel and I'll take your word on the safety thing. The geographic area that I live in is 98% non Arab and 98% non Jewish. Perhaps in New York where there is the New York Times you get nice complete analytic analysis of the Arab, Israeli conflict. A different viewpoint emerges elsewhere in the country. The many midwest newspapers I read will have headlines like, "Israeli's attack Palestineans, 8 Killed Including 3 Children" And a few short paragraphs follow.

New York papers made a big thing of the Mayor rejecting the $10 Million dollar gift from an Arab. New Yorkers cheered. But in Detroit with the nations largest Arab population (percentage wise)it was viewed as an insult.

My point being that the view from other parts of the country is different than what would be accepted in New York.

I would also add that Israel is losing the PR war here in America. But that is just my opinion. Neither the Israeli's nor the Palestineans call me for consultations.

Regards, Jerome
