>>>or if the signs for recovery don't materialize as quickly as the "experts" say then what happens? actually there are very few who are saying the recovery will be "fast' >>>you know as well as I do the best defense of capital in these market conditions is trading I agree 100% although I like most others took tooo long to completely adjust to this >>>do you really plan to hold a stock that runs say 50% in a week or two? f**k no lets be serious, if I get anywhere near 50% in that time frame I'll run for the hills and short the sucker Kelvin, 80% of the longs I have are small % positions and well diversified I will hold the vast majority of them but may well trade around that core position and don't get me wrong I would just love to see a fast 10-20% fall from here but do not see it in the cards without some serious external event and another WTC would not be worth any amount of stock profits I might make
