I didn't hear about anyone else involved with Abdul Haq's capture other than the one or two associates with him, and that they were hanged, too. If there had been 50 special forces, my money would have bet that there would have been a huge firefight, with close air support nearby, that the outcome would have been very different, and that it would have been reported as such. Also, all accounts (Northern Alliance and Pentagon) said that Haq had a cell phone and tried to call us for help, through associates in Pakistan. If there had been 50 special forces with him, I doubt they would have relied on Haq's Sprint cell phone for their communications. There's no reason to believe at this stage that the Pentagon has been anything less than truthful about casualties.
