slowly the door opens... nobody there, it was just the wind...

...blowing me...all over the room...banging me off the walls. The wind raging and supreme in her fury...reckless in abandon; but finally calming down to a gentle whisper...a soft sigh, a fragile kiss...and the slow and desperate closing of the door.

Gee, I never got around to considering that. I guess I'd have to say "a compatible one". I think it is a shame that same-sex people can hug in our culture with out it being gay. There are people in my life that I want distance from and those that we want proximity to.

I don't consider it gay when I cuddle with my 10 year old son. Why should it be so when he is 20? Dogs never seem to make this distinction. They cuddle with those they like, regardless of age or sex. I think they have the companionship (and sex) thing down in spades. JMO.

I do, BTW, live and love within what I consider social norms. I just think about the irrationality of those social norms and how arbitrary they really are.
