No PMs? What's a PM? Heck, I still trying to figure out what EOM and POS is..... ")

It does stand for "mountain resident." I living outside of Denver in the Rockies when I first got on the internet and it never changed. Although I haven't actually lived in the mountains since I left Colorado, I have always lived where they are an eyeshot from my front door so it always seemed to fit.

Anyway, yes, I have heard great things about XP. I read all the articles I could on it and especially the one's in the November PC World magazine has a great article that shows ways you currently use your PC, versus what you would like to do with it, and includes the type of PC you may have (processor and memorywise) and tells you what they feel is the right operating system for you. From what I read, they seem to be right on the money and the basic bottomline was if you PC can handle it and you can afford it, do it. I know you need the Professional version if you PC has dual processors. Other than that, there doesn't appear to be the install hassles of Windows 2000. I have a new copy of 2000 that never installed on my PC. I can sell that to someone for a song if anyone wants 2000. The install prep programs said it wouldn't install on my PC but like a dumba$$, I bought it anyway and guess what? It didn't install and was then unreturnable as it was open...amazing. LOL. Anyway, yes, XP looks great if you system can handle it and I have now convinced myself I should have bought it last night and will likely go get it later today anyway.
