Gordon, I think that nothing is more powerful as a manipulative tool than the use of religion. And, that is the reason why I prefer to keep it separate from gov't functions. IT's not to exclude it from gov't, but to preserve it in it's private place for future generations. The Taliban is another example of a Theocracy.......what a piece of work they are!!! I have to laugh at a bunch of men that are that scared of women! LOL Bin Ladin is currently calling millions of men to fight by his side who believe he is fighting a "holy war". We all know there is nothing at all "holy" about this war nor any war. He is using their faith in a supreme being to manipulate them and they think they are doing a gallant deed by fighting us........my God, the whole scenario is sick and I don't want to see that same thing happening here.
