That sounds all well and good, but you failed to address any of the factual points in my post regarding the immorality of allowing people to starve to fulfill our goals.

I am not sold even .001% by the Propaganda coming out of our military Juggernaut. To date, we have dropped approximately 900,000 food packets. There are about 4 million(some numbers run as high as 7 million) people in desperate trouble. We need to stop the bombings and take care of them; 900,000 daily rations dropped over a period of two weeks to feed millions of people only adds up to a disaster in the making. We could conceivably kill a million people to achieve our goal of getting several hundred. This can in no way be called a just war.

There is an old saying: "fanaticism consists in redoubling your efforts when you have forgotten your aim." Our allowing people to starve in Afghanistan would fit this by definition.
