Area51, Re: So your response to the sept 11 attacks would have been to commission a blue ribbon panel to study our dependence on middle eastern oil?? My goodness, who said anything about panels and discussions? Not me. My view is to take out Bin Laden ASAP so we can declare victory and then start to take back this country from the energy multinationals who've been driving our foreign policy into a morass of entanglements that make no sense whatsoever for the average citizen of this country. No discussion necessary. Just a decision that our oil dependency is costing us too dang much. Cheerio, Ray :)
