It saves time because all the addresses etc are online now so we just have to type in amounts and hit "send" - no writing out checks, looking for stamps, going to the mailbox, getting the bank to send new checkbooks etc. Many of our bills are also set to standard monthly amounts so this makes things even more convenient. Also, it is easy to see where all the cash went every month so in that sense it is a money saver too because it makes budgeting easier. The information is also easily downloadable into Quicken. We wouldn't go back to writing checks every month, that's for sure. We're almost paperless in my house - heck, we even had groceries coming from online stores for a while until all the online grocery stores went out of business! But then, you have to realize, I build internet routers for a living (much to JXM's chagrin <g>) - I have to support online stuff <g>
