Don’t you see that there is no fortunately for all of us ‘rivers of blood’ to quell this very dissent that is after a very long period and lull are destabilizing the very foundation of ideological basis on which Pakistan was made. In one way this present is important for us as a nation, we have a burden of prove to our own self that are we capable of tearing our myths and moving on in to future or we are going to be prisoners of the past.

This is a cross road and if we pass it successfully we will be dry home for a major leap forward as far as our removal of basic poverty is concerned and our ability to provide for millions who need no guns but education.

The very reason Pakistani can dissent from their government is a sign of entrenched democracy, the credit of course goes to our very rich past of thousands of years in India, I think that respect for authority on one hand stems from Islamic Caliphate but on the other there is inbuilt timidity that allows some rationale to express but not burn, the sections of society that have totally gone tangent are the ones you are seeing moving towards the borders but these are extreme fanatic s likes of David Koreish, Jean Marie Le Pen of France, the image very solidly built of Pakistan over years was that of a state based on torture, total denial of democracy and expression and trigger free happy army or rogue army that moves in to areas around them without impunity, the mother force of Taleban what now the leaders of the world have realized is that no they are caught in their own propaganda and these continual visits to Pakistan by all major players of the world is to see for them selves if that propaganda was all nonsense.

We see political disturbances in other ME societies too and seeing tanks and riot gear police and army firing on demonstrators are the images that Pakistani government would have been more naturally partnered with. Not allowance of such a huge dissent, which other Islamic country can have that other than Indonesians again their past is not Arab rooted, in Iraq, Syria, Libya their implosion occurs because you allow this underground killing thousands with gas but no in our part of the world in last five coups we have never spilled a single drop of blood although the constitution was continually stabbed from puritanically western standard this is no small crime. On Kashmir most of the Pakistanis believes that they should be allowed that referendum promised by no other less a person than Jawahar Lal Nehru in UN.

It is as you know also that deep schism of al of us in Pakistan who converted and naturally that typical love-hate relationship with India does exists but that is what I am very positive if that thorn is removed ‘The Kashmir issue’ and it is resolved in accordance with the wishes of the Kashmiri people, as laid down in the UN resolutions I think India and the sub-continent can become the dynamo of the world, I also think that China is not to interested that our disputes are resolved and of course over fundamentalists like yours have that secret hidden agenda of overtaking Indian North and your s have that of ‘Akhund bahrat’ the greater India..

It is a hotch-potch of thousand of years old schism and ideological misgivings and misinterpretations that most of these nations with deep culture are now chained with, you talk to a Israeli or a Palestinian and he would talk of Ishmael and Jacob to make his justifications of his claims, now I have no stomach as to the relevance of either of them or finding my present crisis roots in the myths of past.

I know one thing that we though human being of the world have to off load this past baggage once fro all and see ourselves as natural allies to each other to create better living conditions here, our hell here is clear sign of what we get up their I tel myself everyday 10 times.
If we live and rot in hellish \conditions here like our poverty makes most our people to go through that no great heaven in future can be expected , the collective will have to be rebuilding of our present out past will be only than taken care by providence, but as you know this is heresy and not accepted by the extremists however slowly and steadily we haven other course the healing nature of our systems is far empowering than degenerative forces that work in our physical and political systems, we as humanity have moved forward will continue to do so.

Yes it is very 'amazingly a free country,' our basic liberties we have enjoy against the dictators and democrats cannot be denied to us. Yes our army has removed many politicians from the power but it is a two way lack of understanding as the, leadership sways far too extreme in accumulating power in their hands that destroys the very fabric of governance but I really think that what I can think I can write, now that freedom has seen new dimension as I can go after and write critically about the so far untouchable mullahs. Look at the ferocious demonstration and absolute lack of interest by police to use force, the coup-detat's the political actions all around since Zia departure has been relatively free. The criticism of the President continue unbridled in the press, the flag continues to be burned and effigies ritually taken to roads to be beaten.

That is in one way good that at least dissent is allowed in societies where dissent is taken away wailing mothers appear. The dissenters do not disappear in thick of nights neither the President of the country sacrosanct authority that in itself provides for quite a help for we in this country to continue the policies by taking the people in confidence. The biggest upside of all this is that next one is going to continue with present policy that helps a lot, Yusuf the Vice Chief will have a stronger resolve if present government is struck by any incident without this dissent what happens is that system changes this roaring disapproval by a small minority keep us on the track for the result on the bigger things. .
