gst, perhaps if you actually articulated a position or two you wouldn't come off as ignorant and naive with nothing of consequence to say. maybe you could be taken seriously if you stopped hurling names for a brief time and actually proved that you can thoughtfully take a stance on an issue. or are you only capable of tearing other's opinions down, while proferring none of your own?

Victory, not just retaliation
worldnetdaily.com

The task before our government in response to the attacks of last week is not to defend the law, but to provide national security against any such attacks in the future. Such security requires action to forestall, prevent and defend against attack. And for this task a national security policy is required, not a law-enforcement policy.

This means that we will have to substantially strengthen our internal defenses. We are a free and open society, but we must understand that the greatest freedom should be reserved for our citizens. Visitors from other countries must be treated with respect, but not with the same latitude that we give to our citizens. We have the right to be more careful – to be more surveillant – with those who are not even in principle required to acknowledge loyalty to the interests of the United States. We have been surrendering this right in practice for the past several decades, and this surrender is at least partially responsible for what happened in New York and Washington.

Remember who we are
worldnetdaily.com

Some commentators and so-called experts have been quick to suggest that we will have to give up rights and freedoms in order to achieve greater security against the terrorist threat. They are wrong. The liberties of America's citizens do not facilitate terrorism – rather it is the liberties we have wrongly allowed to non-citizens. Because so many of us are the heirs of America's immigrant tradition, we have been tempted to lose sight of the common-sense truth that we have the right to maintain and enforce the distinction between those who are citizens and those who are not. We have the right to scrutinize more carefully the access and activities of non-citizens, and to bar from our ports of entry or expel any non-citizens who we believe are involved with or abet the terrorist threat. With fairness, but without apology, we must implement a regime that secures the borders and gateways of the nation.
