Thanks for the tip.
I have the same problem with text documents as I do with
Internet Explorer si it doesn't seem to be an IE problem.
I searched the registry and found 3 mentions of smooth scrolling. I'm going to be out all day but tonight I'll
compare the 3 settings in XP to W2K Pro and see if any
are different.

Good morning...need some help

When I started up my computer this morning, all 60 icons on my desktop were where they were suppose to be. About 20 minutes later I went back to my desk top and they were all rearranged into a order that I do not like. It takes a while to put them all back the way I like them and am wondering what caused it and is there a way to save the arrangement once I get them back the way I like them?
