The world is a frightfully cruel place sometimes. If terrorists managed to take out a million in the US or some other nation they hated would your answer be the same. Some would say abandoning the search for the terrorists and it's attendant chaos and unintended deaths of innocents is surrender to that very same enemy, i.e. no stomach for fighting for our lives, property, ideals or beliefs. I personally don't see the likelihood of walling off the US and going into a siege mentality over this. The economic chaos would kill many more millions than the drought in Afghanistan.

Have you appealed to the Iranians and the wealthy Arabs to go in through Iran to save these people? Maybe the ones not supporting the schools for future terrorists could balance the scales or morality and feed some poor Muslim souls.
