To: Michail Shadkin who wrote (5928 ) 10/30/2001 7:57:31 AM From: 2MAR$ Respond to of 6873 Titan Gets Part Of Air Force Contract >TTN Titan Wins Share of $400 Million Air Force Award SAN DIEGO, Oct. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- The Titan Corporation (NYSE: TTN) announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary Titan Systems Corporation has been awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (ID/IQ), Program Management Support Services Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) by the U.S. Air Force Air Armament Center to participate with three other companies in a program to provide advisory and assistance service in support of Department of Defense Joint Test and Evaluation (JT&E) programs. The program has a maximum value of $400,000,000. The services to be provided in this award will include data collection and analysis, task management, engineering analysis, financial management and administrative and presentation support. JT&E programs involve two or more services working together in areas such as joint tactics, techniques and procedures. The programs will seek to achieve improvements in interoperability of service systems, improvement in technical and operational concepts, improved performance of systems, validation of testing methodologies and formulation of data for validating models, simulations and test beds. Funds will be obligated as individual task orders are issued. Task orders can be issued to the four contractors totaling up to the program maximum. This work will be complete October 2007.
