I hope the demand in part is coming from plants that waiting for prices to drop and then locked in prices. If you face bankruptcy because you could not operate with $5 NG, would you jump on the recent opportunity to lock i prices, or just risk one more Winter that might finish you off if you cant operate.

I suspect some companies are throttling production, in contrast to Q1 when they did everything to maximize production. But I understand the easy gas was nailed in Q4 & q1 and that is why production has been declining for some time. I speculated before that production peak in the beginning of Q2 and has been declining through Q2 & Q3.
