That is where the Taliban has an advantage. We are constrained by civilian deaths. The Taliban, by executing political opponents and internal dissenters, are empowered and strengthened. We've done a horrible job at the propaganda war. I would even say we're losing the propaganda war. Much mill should have been made by the death of the Afghan mujahadeen "hero" Haq. More should be made of the political executions. More should be made of the oppressiveness of the Taliban regime. More should be made of the "foreign occupation" by Arabs and Pakistani thugs of bin Laden. Propaganda points like these should have been put into heavy rotation and should be beamed, 24/7, into Afghanistan. Why we haven't is beyond me. Derek
