Looks like someone and some people posting here have similar mentality as the Talebans, and with high strung emotional state, frothing in the mouth, and perfectly ripe and ready to be recruited. Not even Pakistan shuts down their free press

I find your post personally insulting.

Three posts pointed out the leftist bent of the NYT and Dowd and the above is your response ?? Each of those posts made valid and legitimate points which you choose to ignore; not one of those posts ever stated that freedom of speech should be restrained let alone eliminated. Yet you equate posters mentality to that of the Taleban ? I say ... GFY !

Now tell me, who seems to want to deny Americans of their right to freedom of speech, you or I ?

There is alot of "reporting" going on in America, much of it reflects the unwillingness of our press to actually work and present clear and unbiased information.

If you think there's a whole lot of "free press" going on in the Middle East, I'd suggest you rethink your position. They may be harder working than their American peers though based on the quality of the reporting we witness on a daily basis, but "free", I doubt.

Some of us aren't frothing "at the mouth", but see certain things with the bias they're intended to present. As Americans, we have the right to say so either passionately or not.

Some of us didn't need to be recruited when needed to defend your right to free speech and some of us would defend your right today. We deserve the same respect.
