But Larry, the Q (and other fast traders) is only about 10% to 20% of the folio. The majority of the folio is far from these results. I don't think that people should be exclusively in the Q, and if you tested your system, for instance with the "Core" stocks, staying in for most of the ascend and out during descents would have resulted in similar results. I don't think that investor should use only one "method", not only should they diversify in a variety of stocks, but they should diversify in a variety of methods, and do what they discover they do best. I don't do "good" in shorting, and surely not in options (except writing covered one), so I don't practice these practices. Others, may have the "gift" to do options and shorting, and if they find they are successful at that, by all means, they should do it as well as swing trading, day trading and long term holds (with programmed covered writing of calls) like the core.

By he way, so far his year, the great majority of my profits have occurred during three periods, Jan 3 to Jan 31, April 3rd to May 22nd and Sep. 21st to October 26. A very unusual year, in normal years, I usually have only one period like that.

By the way, Larry, the final analysis can be made only after you sell, you don't have yet a sell signal, and the way your system works, you probably are going to "leave" another 10% of the stocks' current prices "on the table" before your system can be "sure" that we have turned. It could also be, that we do not turn (the trend continues), but as we all know, while there is a high probably that the trend will continue, we know for sure that , one day, it will change...(g).

Larry your method has a leisurely quality(backed up by preliminary intense preparation) that for a bloke like me i find alluring--i did once trade at a rapid rate, but having taken a break,i don't really want to go back to a frenetic pace.Your profits were nonetheless most impressive and i am impressed with your methodology.Max
