I disagree. If we can't wrap this up within a month, we will never wrap it up. If the war stretches too long, there is a danger that we will lose Pakistan, and
bin Laden's friends may take over completely in Saudi Arabia (he already has some friends in high places over there.) I was optimistic a few weeks ago when I heard Powell talk about the Taliban in the past tense. Now I think he didn't know what he was talking about.

Now there's something we can agree on. I just trapped a rat in my back yard. I chose the time and place for setting the trap, but had no way to control if or when he would take the bait.
