Yes I am aware of those compatibility tests for hardware and software, that stuff they throw at the PC is what gives Dell the kind of PC that has earned its stripes and value.
I really doubt that Dell will go thru that kind of testing like they do with their Optiplex brand PC,s. I really doubt sometimes the Dimension brand gets all of the testing but could be wrong, after all its mostly Intel MBs. I would rather have a Dell designed PC anyday and will pay for it.
Forget this Taiwan third party stuff, its only going to hurt Dell either profit wise or credability/reliability wise.
