all i can say is a worthless anecdotal bit,but i pass on anyway---having failed to find an effective blood-pressure med(i have idiopathic severe high blood pressure,when not controlled),due to the common coughing side effect to ACE-inhibitors.And if it wasn't for Merck's angiotensin II product,i would be in trouble.It is branded as Cozaar or Hyzaar(i take Hyzaar) it has proven to be a major winner for me(my blood pressure has dropped from levels of 270/160 to 130/80). Also,recent studies has shown that those with diabetes(which i don't have)Cozaar/Hyzaar is safer regards kidney problems than it's competitors. I think they have a major winner here,imo.Max
