hmaly,

<That isn't what Businessweek thinks. Read it and weep.>

Since when is BusinessWeek the last word on anything? They can't even do simple math, much less analyze Intel's future.( 52% ??? )

"Intel's revenue is expected to decline 52%, from $33.7 billion in 2000 to $25.5 billion this year--the chipmaker's first revenue drop since the 1985-86 tech recession."

Hmaly, <This all happened because of the price war.>

Then you have nothing to worry about. If what you say is true, then AMD could have asked for nothing better than the current price war.

<That isn't what Businessweek thinks. Read it and weep.>

I'm weeping all right, but it's not because I think Businessweek is right.

<Intel needs to refocus. Intel needs a CEO who is capable of that. Intel needs a CEO who is smart enough to know a price war will increase demand; is smart enough to know engineering is the future of Intel, not marketing; is smart enough to know the customer comes first, not after profits.>

So you think Jerry "I sold, didn't you" Sanders is that man?
