Fed says adds temporary reserves via 28-day repos

NEW YORK, Oct 29 (Reuters) - The Federal Reserve said on Monday it was adding temporary reserves to the banking system through a round of 28-day fixed system repurchase agreements.

Fed funds were trading at 2.56 percent in morning trade, according to dealers, above the Fed's 2.5 percent target for the rate.
