"One door closes, another opens." What makes Southwest profitable, even as the other major airlines were losing millions BEFORE 9/11? I suspect that failure of one or two of the major carriers would make the third quite strong, plus open the door for expansion of Southwest, and a host of other smaller low-cost carriers. Its going to happen anyway........might as well get on with it and move to the next level of airline travel........whatever that may be. Regards, Knip
