I don't think that's enough to warrant a permanent suspension This would only be permanent now because of prior offenses, so the severity argument is irrelevant. From my point of view, the name calling is not what is the problem. It is the blatant misdirection and time wasting that has reached a crescendo recently. You accept that Paul has posted a large amount recently. If you want to defend him then how about providing links to a few posts in the last 2 weeks that have been useful? By useful I would exclude - the reposting of stale information - the reiteration of well known facts (whether in capital letters or not) - splitting hairs rather than addressing the issue under discussion. Doesn't seem an unreasonable filter? If there are many posts that pass these criteria then maybe Paul does bring value to the thread.
