OT Last week bad reports on durable orders and employment were ignored; so was the realization that the war is not going to be short; so were further outflows from equity funds. Now the dollar is fading, and Argentina is teetering. Maybe we are suffering again from the news hysteresis effect. I remember back in the early post-mania days it took a couple of days for bad economic news to register and have an effect.
