Except that he referred to a statement as simplistic, and called no-one a simpleton. There is a difference between a minor critique of an argument and outright name-calling. Let us not get so defensive that a legitimate point of debate is so personally construed . As to offerring something else, that is something we all should do. It is one thing to critique each other, the government, the Muslims, the military, etc etc, but offerring a workable alternative can make a more productive debate.
