Loyalty is a dangerous ally for an investor.

I'm loyal to Apple as a consumer, but as an investor, I'm temporarily out of AAPL stock, along with all other equities except precious metals. October's sucker rally will lead to some serious ugliness in the stock market. It may have even started today; it's impossible to know for sure.

I hope at least some of the MSFT investors on this board have taken this sucker rally as a fantastic opportunity to lighten up their position. There will be better buying opportunities in the near future. And even better ones a couple of years from now.
