Paul, you argue Apple/Oranges. The AGP standard on the mobo should accept all comers. Power supplies have to be made for the power needed. There are some power supplies that are not good enough to power high speed Intel based mobos and those will be inadequate for all Athlons, but they will power slow Intel Mobos. When the athlon came along it was faster and needed more power than Intel slower parts becsue it was more powerful. The tables had been truned on Intel amd the decline began. Bill
