Hi X, I hope all is well with you and all the Xes, Yes to Xes, I always say.... So Hearing more and more in the mainstream press about the lack of connection between the WTC terrorist attack and the Anthrax terrorist attacks, I read in the October 29, 2001, "The New Yorker", Talk of the Town section, a very interesting piece by Rebecca Mead... Unfortunately, I can never link the online-issues, of the most interesting articles.. I only subscribe to the hard copy. Ms Mead writes... "Rebecca Wortman, who manages a gynecology practice in Rochester New York, where her husband, Dr. Morris Wortman, performs abortions, is more familiar with terrorist threats than most Americans..." To outline, on Monday morning last, She had opened a letter at the "Center for Menstrual Disorders and Reproductive Choice" which she and her husband opened 15 years ago.. The letter contained a brownish powder and a suicide death threat for all around them, stating if they kill babies, it is legal for him to kill himself and anybody around.. According to Ms. Mead, "The Wortmans received their first anthrax threat IN 1999" (caps mine)... By now, they remain calm, but not at first.. Must be remarkable people BTW the recent powder threat turned out benign, but, IMO, it goes to show, that segment of our society, has been THINKING and THREATENING TO USE that terrible substance for a long time on OUR OWN PEOPLE.. I can't frakin believe it.. It makes me wonder.. And I am glad our authorities are investigating all angles.. Take care, m
