Who else has seen this besides Van? And whatever happened to that Pentium 4 throttling issue he and Bert McComas had been pursuing earlier this year?

They decided to stop talkinmg about it when the pictures of the cooked Athlon's were shown on Tom's website :-)

Van shut his mouth on this subject when Tom Pabst illustrated that Intel's clock throttling REALLY WORKED - as planned - to prevent "Chip Fries" - and not slow down processing.

At the same time, Tom Pabst showed that AMD's negligence in providing such "clock throttling protection" caused AthWipers to CRASH AND BURN - and filmed it for posterity !
