There is no denying that the CFL has suffered in the last few years. The shortage of talent affecting the NFL is also having an impact in the CFL.

You mentioned Moon. Do you remember Joe Theisman? He played for Toronto before going to Washington. Do you remember Heisman winner (?), Vince Ferragamo? He bombed in the CFL.

Keep in mind that the CFL, although not the elite league, has had its share of talent over the years. And playing in it isn't as easy as you might think, larger field, more players on the field and only three downs to gain 10 yards. As far as I can remember, the Grey Cup has offered much more in terms of entertainment than any SuperBowl in recent history.

There are some facets of the CFL game that should be adopted by the NFL. We don't need no stinking Fair-Catch rule, that's for wusses. Let the teams play the last two minutes as opposed to running out the clock. It took you decades before you finally instituted the 2-point conversion, which has made the game that much more interesting. Unfortunately, the Snobs that rule the NFL are too stuck up to even consider such changes, which in my opinion would make a great game even greater.
