What's also interesting is we XP beta testers were told last week that we won't get our final boxed copy of the OS until end of Nov (for the Pro users) or Feb (for the home users).

I've been thru 3 OS betas, and normally we get the boxed copy before the launch.

I'm thinking they sent out all they could produce to the distributors.

Maybe retailer demand has been exceeding supply?
