Oblomov, that was not my point at all - re. holding or buying defense related stocks. As to Sr, there is clear conflict of interest. One of my points was that is true to Lenin theory ........ one aspect of the capitalism system the embrace of money will lead to the result that the capitalist will manufacture it's own rope to be hanged with. .......- re. letting countries with an agenda of expansion and obliteration of our cultural and social system own and profit from, .......by owning chunks of our defense industry (11% of it) via a very well connected entity like Carlyle. (spl?) and possible influencing the outcome of our defense systems designed to shield us from "them". In this case the terrorist groups financed by members of the Wahabi sect. Roll back let say 14 year and discover that "Mother Russia" owns 11% of our defense industry or for sake of argumument China owns the same amout of our defense industry ................. do you think no one will care or there will not be, an outcry from the Republican political wing???????
