06:34 ET IBM (IBM) 108.62: Unveils a line of storage networking products for mid-market customers, including a new storage server that provides 2 GB Fibre Channel connectivity, and enhanced network attached storage (NAS) and internet protocol (IP) storage products.




06:19 ET U.S. Markets : S&P futures trading at 1070.50, 9.5 points below fair value, Nasdaq 100 futures trading at 1360, 19.0 points below fair value. The 30-year bond is up 8 ticks at 5.244%. The dollar is little changed versus both the yen and the euro.




06:18 ET European Markets : FTSE -1.79%, DAX -2.33% -- European stocks under heavy pressure. Spanish banking stocks hit hard on the back of concerns about a default in Argentina. Profit concerns also a drag on auto parts, chemical and biotech shares. Technology shares pounded with mainstays such as Nokia and Ericsson down around 5%. Infineon also weighed down by restructuring concerns in the face of falling chip prices. Some reprieve from better than expected third quarter profits out of Volkswagen.
