Okay, now I feel better -g-. Just so long as you don't propose rewarding Arafat for his terrorism.

Israel, for obvious reasons, has developed a rather jaundiced opinion of the UN. Were you following the news coming out of the UN Durban anti-racism (but pro anti-Semitism) conference in August? Last year, Hizbollah terrorists disguised as UN troops kidnapped and killed three Israeli soliders, right under the noses of the UN troops. The UN troops shot videotapes and tried to hide them from the Israelis lest it compromise their "neutrality". The Israelis would never agree to UN control.

Actually another alternative is to do something similar with the following caviat's.

1. Internationalize Jerusalem, although it could serve as the capital to certain states.

2. Create 2 (that's right) Arab states, one in the West Bank and a second Arab state in Gaza. They would be independent from one another.

Internationalize the terror problem by having the World Court, use a grand jury process against all terror members on Israel's list, and then force the extradition of those with credible evidence to Israel for prosectution.

Nulify the arguement for a 'right of return'

Provide a trial period, during which the world would expect all sides to have 'zero' terror eminating from their border.

Failure to rein in terror would mean the ending of that state.
