Sure, they must realize President Bush has no chance against Rudy the Rock. That WSJ piece about Iran...I am also simply amazed how this incredible story has not been picked up by CNN, MSNBC or any of the networks. Are they asleep????? It would be a GIGANTIC early victory in this war that we had absolutely nothing to do with except, well, just being us, an example to young Iranians. This is the very first real hope and light at the end of he tunnel I have seen coming out of this entire mess. If we get a democratic and tolerant Iran that is pro-US and anti-fundamentalist it would be more powerful than anything we could ever field in winning this war decisively, and changing the face of the ME. It would also be the first powerful moderate AND democratic Islamic nation in the region. It would be a huge balance against the extremists, and an example to every would-be bin Laden that they have other alternatives. The President should immediately make a speech from the Oval Office directed at the revolutionaries in Iran, that they can expect United States support if the nation asks for it in the voice of the democratic revolutionaries.
