(CEFT), which runs payment-processing systems and ATM networks, on Tuesday reported third-quarter profits rose 62 percent and said two new clients would begin boosting revenue in the fourth quarter. The Memphis, Tennessee-based firm said net income rose to $81.5 million, or 16 cents per diluted share, from $50.2 million, or 10 cents per share, a year earlier. Wall Street had expected the firm to earn 15 cents to 16 cents per share, with a mean estimate of 16 cents, according to market research firm Thomson Financial/First Call. Concord said two new customers -- retailing giant Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (WMT) and Citizens Financial Corp (CIWV) -- have signed deals to use the company's services and will add to revenues beginning in the fourth quarter.
