Would you please state your case plainly if you have a point to make. Skip the edits, rewrites and assumptions. Allow me to summarize for you. I responded to a message "chooseanother" wrote to you that concluded with the words, "One won. It's over. Some folks are just slow and won't give up. Kinda like the Taliban." My smartass reply was, "Or Gore voters." Your reply expressed a view that Bush voters would have behaved the same as Gore voters if the situation was reversed. I responded that you had taken "I did it because he did it" to a new level by introducing the concept of "I did it because he would have done it" At this point we are talking about Gore supporters and Bush supporters. No one has mentioned the candidates themselves. But, that didn't stop our Leaping Conclusionist from bringing Bush and Gore into the picture and suggesting my "agenda-driven imagination" was going wild. I reminded you, E, in my response that we were talking about supporters of Gore and Bush, not Gore and Bush themselves. Which brings us to your hopelessly defensive excuse for a response that is the subject of this post. Once again, you are the victim of the "created impression" of a subject change (that YOU initiated). You continue by using your amazing imagination to discern what I think and insult me for the "imagined" thought all in one sentence. And, BTW, I receive no marching orders from W's inner circle re any views I express on SI. Nor do I hold Big Al accountable for the incessant whining of his supporters on SI. Your repetition of "agenda driven imagination is suspect, and not a pretty thing" is straight out of the DNC tactical guide for public discourse. And that's not a product of the imagination.
