After initially keeping silent over the air strikes against Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia has now spoken out against US military action.
"We are not at all happy with the situation," said Interior Minister Prince Naif. But he stressed that Riyadh was still ready to confront terrorism.

The traditionally close relationship between the US and Saudi Arabia has come under acute strain since the bombing began, with Saudi rulers fearing a serious public backlash if they appear to be supporting attacks on another Muslim country.

However, so far there is no threat to Saudi oil supplies, which could prove important if military action causes a sudden oil price rise.

The US's main airports are run by Russian mobsters...

jrep.com

Excerpt:

In the U.S., they quickly established families that did business in the brutal tradition of Russian gangs - tight hierarchy, connections made while doing time in the Soviet prison system, and a requirement of two murders to reach high positions. The families, says the Israeli police source, "always kept up their connections in Russia" - ties that would become lucrative after the Soviet Union collapsed.

The Organizatsiya, which now numbers about 300 members, muscled in on existing mob operations in America - trafficking in drugs and illegal guns, and running prostitution and protection rings. From the Mafia, they grabbed a share of the "business" of robbing import warehouses at Kennedy Airport. They also set up legitimate businesses but used fraud to evade taxes. Three or four of the families are based in Brooklyn. Besides New York, the Organizatsiya operates mainly in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Florida.

I think you are being way too charitable toward Iraq.

Re:
I still believe their possession and use is wrong and should be punished vigorously.

Does this mean you approve of our occasional bombing of Iraq - you just think we should bomb Israel too?

If not, how should they be punished? And by whom? IYO in addition to Iraq and Israel, should India and Pakistan be punished?
