UF,

<< Aren't you a little overweighted to the wireless sector already? >>

TBH. Yes.

I allocate 30% of my port to it.

It is currently at 36% (22% QCOM + 16.1% NOK).

I'll have to think about this between Christmas and January end when I rebalance if it remains this high.

I hold a bit more NOK than I expected to hold but I could not resist the 9/6 price of $12.75 (limit buy hit while I was in Europe). Actually I just sold a little at $21 after that nice +65%er. The $21 limit sell was placed on 9/12 right after the limit buy hit.

I can sense a decent recovery coming H2 2002 in wireless and I don't yet have a real good feel yet for other sectors so I might let wireless sit at 35% going into next year.

Don't get me wrong. I don't expect wireless to roar, but I feel some of the uncertainty will lift about wireless data as 1xRTT rolls out in the States, and GPRS stabilizes worldwide. Mass deployment of either is 12 months out, IMO.

I've whacked a lot of QCOM between 12/31/01 and 2/31/01 and I really don't feel like taking it down further. Simply stated, I'm very comfortable with my position and might even add a tad, should we test old lows.

I placed a (small) limit buy for OPWV this morning at $6. It went the other way and closed at $7.80. Order stands. I have not done enough DD on Openwave to do anything but take a small starter position in it.
