In particular Saddam does have more to lose and may be just coming to terms with the islamic fundamentalist threat to his regime. They may succeed where kurds, shiites and the US did not. Those women walking around in black robes in what was once cosmopolitan bagdad says it all. mike

PS Rumor has it that you are one of the few surviving Spanish American War vets. Is that true? Were you long the rails back then?

Rally today? I would like to believe that strength over past weeks had more to it than an immediate decline to low end of the range would indicate. If there was real strength before, there should be a point at which buyers come in. Your thoughts? mike
