No matter how you twist it, INTC's q3 SPENDABLE income was $2 billion... not $787 million.

What was AMD's spendable income from Q3...oh great accounting wizard?

Niceguy, Re: "No matter how you twist it, INTC's q3 net income was $787 million, not $2 billion..."

You may have a point about not considering Intel's pro-forma gains as part of their "net income". However, after these one-time acquisition related costs, Intel's "net worth" does increase, as well as future potential for greater products. On the other hand, AMD's total loss of $189 million still subtracts from their "net worth". It doesn't come back, and it doesn't increase their potential. It's simply a loss.
