Foundry Networks Repurchases 1,522,000 Shares of Common Stock Today as Part Of a Repurchase Program Announced Earlier This Year


SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Foundry Networks(R), Inc. (Nasdaq: FDRY), a performance and total solutions leader for end-to-end switching and routing for the support of next generation networks, today completed a repurchase of 1,522,000 shares of its common stock pursuant to a repurchase program announced in January of this year. Pursuant to this program, the Company was authorized to repurchase up to 5,000,000 shares of its common stock from time to time until January 2002. The Company has no current intention to repurchase additional shares.
